Bobby Wayne Wigley, 78, of Fort Payne, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his home. He was born July 26, 1947 in Fort Payne, Alabama, to the late Raymond and Edith Guyton Wigley. He drove a truck for Vulcraft for many years.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home with burial following in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. hour of service.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Wigley; children Mary Reed (Curt), Mandy Conner (John), Andrea Fowler, Jonathan Wigley, and Joshua Wigley (Tina); sister Connie Burgess (Charles); brother Eddie Wigley; sisters-in-law Wanda Wigley and Helen Wigley; grandchildren Brittany Holcomb (Joey), Spencer Reed, Hunter Santiago, Drake Wigley (Miriam), Khaleel Hale, Kennedy Henderson, Race Wigley, Elliott Fowler, and Jocelyn Wigley; great-grandchildren Graham, Reed, and Parker Holcomb and Judith EraMae and Anastasia Ruth Wigley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty McMichen, and brothers Jerry, Kenneth, and James “Bimbo” Wigley.
