Bobby was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. He was a devout Christian, father, and grandfather. He worked for the Lord the last 50 years of his life. He was an accomplished carpenter and gardener. He loved traveling, singing with the church, and spreading the word of God. He retired from truck driving with Yellow Freight. He loved his family deeply as well as his church family. He was a wonderful role model and the hardest working man we’ve ever known. He was a soft-hearted man meant for God and while we suffer his loss, we praise our Lord, for it was the Lord’s sacrifice that has allowed him to be home now
