Funeral services for Bobby Smith, 76, will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Jones officiating.
Mr.Smith died Tuesday at his residence. He was a mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing, nature and spending time with his grandchildren. He was very family oriented filled with love and passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Smith and Ruby Hancock Smith; brothers and sister, Ishmal Smith, Artie Gram, Jennilou Wells, Louise King, Enda Stewart, Erline Lanehart, Ella Wisner; grandson, Anthony Laparrie and a great-granddaughter.
He is survivied by his wife, Easter Smith; son, Bobby Junior (Tina) Smith of Rienzi, MS; daughters, Donna (Buddy) Smith of Marksville, LA, Dorothy (Matt) Decker of Livonia, LA, Samantha (Otis) Jackson of Crosby, MS, Mary (James) Smith of Walnut, MS, Lena (Steven) Jackson of Booneville, MS; brothers, Mack Smith, Jack Smith; grandchildren, Jayme, Jason, Jeremy, Thimothy, Christy, Tommie Sue, Mariellen, Cordillia, Crystal, McKenzi, Ashley, Chandler and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday 12:00 pm until service time.
Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
