Bobby Romans, age 67, of Scottsboro, passed away at his home on August 7, 2025. He was retired from Tri-Green Equipment and was a member of the Scottsboro Jackson County Rescue Squad for over 30 years, and an avid Alabama fan.

Mr. Romans was preceded in death by his father, Pete Romans; his grandparents, Wallace Romans, Sr., Bessie Shavers, and Robert and Katy O’linger; aunt and uncle, Harold (Fuzz) and Gladys (Sissy) Bradford.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Romans; son, Patrick (Heather) Romans; daughter, Lauren Evans; grandchildren, Bentlee and Hadlee Romans, and Rylan Evans; his mother, Mattie Romans; sisters, Glenda (Russell) Wilson, Janet (Mike) Mitchell, and Jane (Randy) McCarver; nieces, Tiffany Milligan and Felicia McCarver; and a cousin, Danny Bradford.

Bobby was a family man loved his wife Cindy and their children and grandchildren. He and Cindy were married for 41 years.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel and the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.

Chris Shavers, Steven Johnson, Lee Garner, Ray Webb, Alan Rodgers and Billy Murphy will serve as Pallbearers.
