Bobby O’Neal Robinson, age 82, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Robinson was born on January 07, 1936 to Ralph & Willie (Weems) Robinson. He was a member of Russellville Church of Christ. Mr. Robinson proudly served in the U. S. Army National Guard and worked for Reynolds Aluminum for 39 years as a dolley operator.

The visitation will 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Daniel Parrish will officiate the service. Emtombment will be at Franklin Memory Gardens in the mausoleum.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph L. Robinson; mother, Willie Weems Robinson; and nephew, Terry Demastus.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 59 years, Mary Enlow Robinson; nieces & nephews, Lisa Jackson Thorne (husband, Wilson), Denise Jackson Fretwell (husband, Doug), Lorraine Jackson Perez (husband, Joseph), Christi Kennerly, Walker Kennerly, Maleah Chaney, Frank Chaney; great-nephew and nieces, Chris Pace (wife, Miranda), Joshua Thorne (wife, Kayla), Kayla Thorne Pace (husband, Daniel), Billy Fretwell, Tiffany Thorne Warhurst (husband, Eric), Jacob Demastus, Daniel Demastus, Jessica Fretwell Seay (husband, Brandon); eight great-great-nieces & nephews; sister, Genelle Robinson Jackson; sisters-in-law, Sherry Enlow Gardner (husband, Anthony), Margaret Enlow; and a host of friends.

The pallbearers will be Wilson Thorne, Joseph Perez, Chris Pace, Wayne Hester, Tom Morgan, Jimmy Hutchinson, Steve Pounders, and Ted Weems. The honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Weems, Tommy Weems, Ronny Logan, David Weems, J.D. Robinson, and Jimmy Brown.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of North Alabama Hospice and to the many friends who have been so kind and helpful to our family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105-9959.
