Visitation will be Tuesday October 23, 2018, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday October 24, 2018, at 2:00pm in the chapel, with Bro. George Ray Garner, Bro. James Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas Cemetery.
Mr. Gunter is survived by his wife, Magalene Gunter; son, Larry (Debra) Gunter; daughter-in-law, Kathy Gunter; brother, James Gunter; grandchildren, Sonia (Rex) Teague, Misty (Chris) Fowler, and Amber (Chad) Watkins; great-grandchildren, Marissa Fowler, Alexa & Levi Watkins, and Chelsia & Noah Andrews; great-great-grandchildren, Mason & Micah Andrews.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Phillip and Jerry Gunter; sister, Faye Hill; and great grandsons, Christian & Austin Gunter
