Graveside service and Interment for Bobby Joe Garrison, 77, will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Falkville City Cemetery with Bro. Jamie McMinn and Bro. David Hale officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  No Visitation is scheduled. As mandated by the State of Alabama, we are limited to 10 people in a service at any given time. Please help us respect this guideline.

Mr. Garrison died on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his residence.  He was born July 25, 1942, in Colbert County to William Joe Garrison and Geneva Vest Garrison.  He was a self-employed Contractor-Homebuilder and was a Law Enforcement Officer prior to retirement. He was a faithful member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served as a police officer in Fillmore, California and was police chief for the City of Falkville. He loved to fish, eat at Mister Henry’s and loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grands.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Roxey Nell Garrison, his parents and a brother: Bernard Garrison.

Survivors include:

Four Sons- William Garrison (Teena),
Terry Max Lambert (Melissa),
John Garrison (Missy) and
James Samuel Garrison (Chelsea)

Three Daughters – Tracy Anderson (Terry),
Wendy Hale (David) and
Christy Fritz (Barry)

a Brother – John Wayne Garrison

a Sister – Erma Jean Wilson

Eighteen  Grandchildren and
Twenty-One  Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Thomas Tanner, Steven Woodland, Dexter Ellard, Judd Baker, Seth Gee and Thomas Hopkins.
