Bobby Joe Barrett, 69, passed away at his residence after an extended illness.
Visitation will be today from noon-1:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Garry Lovette officiating.
Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mildred Barrett, and sister, Carolyn Redding.
He is survived by his sons, Ty Barrett (Vanessa) and Shannon Barrett (Pam); daughter, Heather Barrett; brothers, Gerald, Billy, and David Barrett; sister, Shelby Crews; grandchildren, Jordan and Braxton Barrett, Savannah Wright, and Jessie Barrett; and great-grandchildren, Liam Barrett and Kolton Springer.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to a longtime caregiver, Billy Barrett and Hospice of the Tennessee Valley for their tender loving care.
