Bobby Jack Streetman, age 85, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his residence.
Jack proudly served his nation in the U.S. Army, fought in Vietnam and then later retired as a E5-SGT. He loved hunting, fishing, and simply being outdoors. He worked in the logging business and as a mechanic. He was a loving husband, a great father, and a devoted grandfather, and loved all of his family very much. He was a fun-loving man who would do anything for anyone.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bobby James and Bro. James McCullar speaking at the service. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens with military honors.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joey Streetman; parents, Henry Douglas & Ada (Oliver) Streetman; his siblings, Thomas Streetman, Maxine West, Mavianea Baker; Buster Streetman, Doug Streetman, and M.D. Streetman
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 56 years, Doris DeVaney Streetman; granddaughter, Ashley Streetman; great-grandchildren, Teegan Williams, Taylen Streetman; daughter of the heart, Selina Rikard (Patrick Bailey); siblings, Ruby Britton, Barbara Watts, Dwight Streetman (Vangie); a host of nieces & nephews; and last but not least, Kash, his favorite dog.
The pallbearers will be Michael George, Chad Cartee, Bobby James, Cody McDougle, Darryl Streetman, and Timothy Downard. The honorary pallbearer will be Billy Ray Fretwell.
