Mr. Bobby Jack Floyd, age 86, of Arab, Alabama, passed away early Sunday morning, June 21, 2026, at Albertville Select Rehab. Bobby Jack was born in Marshall County, Alabama, on October 30, 1939, to William Floyd and Maudie Hulgan Floyd. He was a high school graduate and had earned additional college credit. He was of the Pentecostal faith, served his country as a United States Army veteran, and worked in construction as a pipe fitter. Bobby Jack enjoyed fishing, loved his Jack Russell dog, “Dinkie,” and was a devoted supporter of University of Alabama sports.
Bobby Jack is survived by his daughter, Pamela Lisa “Pam” Manley and her husband, Kenneth “John” Manley; grandchildren, Christopher Storm Jackson and Chase Manley; ex-wife, Sheila Toole; and her son, Donnie Toole and his wife, Toni.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Maudie Floyd; brothers, William Floyd, Ray Floyd, and Tommy Floyd; and sisters, Shirley Woods and Judy Hulgan.
In keeping with Bobby Jack’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
