Bobby Hue Scott – Obituary

Bobby Hue Scott, 80, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Generations of Red Bay. He was born in Alabama and worked in pipeline construction for more than thirty years.

Services will be Tuesday, August 22, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Gregory Cantrell and Bro. Tony Wood officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife – Shirley Reed Scott, Hackleburg, Al.; two sons – Timothy Wade Scott and wife, Tammy Childers Scott, Hodges, Al. and Michael Hue Scott; one step-son-Barry Reed; one step-daughter – Ann Lovett; brothers and sisters – Mary Nell Gilbert, Brilliant, Al., Doris May Smith, Cottondale, Al., Virginia Ann Scoggins, Town Creek, Al., Roger Dale Scott, Vernon, Al., James “Orvil” Scott and John Edward Scott, Millport, Al.; two grandchildren – Laura Scott Hopson, Hamilton, Al. and Colton Blake Scott, Hodges, Al. and three great-grandchildren – Shawn Scott Jenkins, Brayden James Hopson and Anna Elizabeth Hopson, all of Hamilton, Al.

He was preceded in death by his father – Ervin “Otho” Scott, mother – Floria Eugenia Scott, two sisters – Barbara Jean Scott and Clara “Nell” Ray, one brother – David Dewight Scott and a step-son – James H. Reed.

Pallbearers will be Colton Scott, Barry Reed, Anthony Lovett, Gene Gilbert, Tommy Lawler and Ronnie Lawler.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22, 9-11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
