Bobby Harbin, 75 of Athens, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at home surrounded by all of his children. Mr. Harbin was born March 25, 1945 to J.B. Harbin and Mary Boyett Harbin.
Funeral services for Mr. Harbin will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Majestic Chapel with Bro. Mike Webster officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Majestic Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Harbin loved hunting, fishing and coaching little league baseball. He was a faithful member of Majestic Chapel and loved his church family dearly.
He is survived by his children, Tangila Peden (Donald), Tracy Johnson (Dennis), Bobby Harbin, Jr., and Tabitha Cosby (Sidney); grandchildren, Dillon Johnson, Cody Peden, Dustin Johnson (Erika), Katelyn Stinnett (Dedrick), Matthew Johnson, Logan Peden, Bianca Cosby, Miya Cosby, Joshua Cosby and Aubrey Cosby; great grandchildren, Karsyn Stinnett and Harper Johnson; siblings, Linda Pugh, Barbara Bright (Rod), Robert Harbin (Faye), Farron Harbin (Sandra), Brenda Prater (Clay) and Cyrus Harbin (Melody); uncles, Homer Boyett and Donnie Boyett (Debbie); host of nieces and nephews; special care giver, Beth Meadows.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Ann Harbin; brothers, Travis Harbin and Stephen Harbin.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dillon Johnson, Cody Peden, Dustin Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Logan Peden and Joshua Cosby.
