Bobby Gene Clemmons of Lynnville, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Giles County, TN on March 24th, 1938 and was 86 years old.
Bobby was born and raised in Giles County where some of his best memories were growing up on the farm with his brothers and sisters. He went into the Marine Corps at Paris Island, SC, then went to Vietnam as a civilian working on helicopters. Bobby was a business owner most of his working career in the steel fabrication business. He enjoyed the countryside, all sporting events, playing golf, and was an avid Auburn fan. One of his favorite things to do was to go on trips to Hawaii. He was also a Mason.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Piece Funeral Home.
The burial will be at Scotts Hill Cemetery.
Bobby was preceded in death by, his parents, Villard Thomas and Lera Blade Clemmons, brother, Fred Clemmons, and sisters, Geneva Grammer Burks and Hellon Howell, and great grandson, Bentley Wayne Glover.

Son, Gregg (Tammie) Clemmons of Lynnville, TN
Brother, Barry (Lynette) Clemmons of Birmingham, AL
Grandson, Brent (Kelly) Glover of Goodspring, TN
Great grandchildren, Emma and Baylen Glover
Numerous in-laws, family, and friends also survive.
