Bobby Foster Hurt age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at NHC Lewisburg.

Bobby was born October 9, 1944, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Andrew and Bonnie McKinney Hurt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy George.

He is survived by two sons, Todd (Jamison) Hurt of Murfreesboro and Jeff Hurt of Lewisburg; three grandchildren, Josephine, Savannah and James; one sister Faye White of Lewisburg and one brother, Wayne Hurt of Lebanon.

Bobby was retired from ICP and a member of Shiloh Outreach Church in Wheel. He proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was an officer with the youth baseball and softball programs for several years. He refereed high school football, drove a school bus and worked as a substitute teacher. He was a big fan of UT football. He served his community as a Cub Scout leader and member of the Lions Club, Woodmen of the World, Freemasons and the Order of the Eastern Star. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening.

A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date. Per his wishes, he will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Delk-Henson Intermediate School, 425 S Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN 37034.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
