Funeral service for Bobby Ceaf Stricklin ,76, of Gardendale, Alabama will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 10th, 2016 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery, Revs. Steve Rodgers and Harce Swann officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Stricklin passed away Friday, October 7th, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 6, 1940 to Richard and Melba Stricklin. He was a retiree from Chicago Bridge and Iron after 28 years of employment.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Luene Rice; brother, David Aaron; son, Bobby Keith Stricklin.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Myra Stricklin; his children, Toni (Randy) Jones, Barbara (Mark) Poe, Stanley (Patti) Stricklin; step-children, Helen Leavins, Johnny (Michele) Leavins, Larry (Tanya) Leavins; grandchildren, Andrew (Rebecca) Poe, Anthony (Jessica) Poe, Ashlyn Leavins, Autumn Leavins, Austin Leavins, Brooke Leavins, Brandi Leavins, Staci (Trent) Brown, Alivia Stricklin, Sophie Stricklin, Brooklyn Matthews; one great-grandchild, Parker Poe; sisters, Wanda (H.C.) Shelton and Teresa (Maurice) Rice;brother, Ricky (Tammy) Stricklin; brother-in-law, Jurl Rice.

Visitation will be at Mt. Joy Baptist Church Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Joy Baptist building fund.

Pallbearers will be Abram Stricklin, Colton Stricklin, Hugh Shelton, Michael Rice, Keith Rice, Kelvin Rice.
