Bobby Billings Hudson, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Oaktree Manor in Amory. He was born on February 15, 1938, in Gordo, AL to Monroe and Mattie Dill Robinson Hudson. He lived in Greenwood Springs for many years and worked for Monroe County Power retiring after 37 years. He was a devoted husband to Josephine who preceded him in death and Bobby liked to hunt. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Durrett Cemetery.
He is survived by one sister, Alice Stairwalt (Rod) of West Point and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mellie Josephine Hudson; and other family, Lucille Langford, Unice Langford, Nail Huffman, Sam Hudson, Bud Hudson, Bernice Allen, and Mary Hudson.
Family and friends will be pallbearers.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
