Bobbie Lee Sotherland Coshatt passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Her home going services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Collier Butler Funeral Home. Bill Drummonds will officiate. Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens in Rainbow City, Alabama. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. The family will accept friends from 12:00PM until the hour of the service at the funeral home on Monday.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Royce W. Coshatt; her parents, Joseph T. and Maudie Sotherland; her siblings, J.T (Moria) Sotherland, Dennis Sotherland, Glenda (Bobby) Gaddy, Gladys (Orville) Bearden, and Infant Sotherland; and daughter-in-law, Donna (David) Coshatt.

Bobbie is survived by her sisters, Mary E. (Billy) Fox, and Ruby (Verlon) Fowler; her three children, Nan Coshatt Hedgspeth, David (Donna) Coshatt, and Anji (Tommy) Perrymon; grandchildren, Kendall Hedgspeth, Megan (Scott) Sasser, Haydyn Hedgspeth, John Coshatt, and Jake Coshatt; and great grandsons, Caden Sasser and Kendyn Hedgspeth. Bobbie also had several nieces and nephews that she loved.

Bobbie was a Christian and longtime member of Southside Baptist Church. She was an avid bridge and game player and worked at Sears, Terminal Building Supply and Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

 

Pallbearers are Haydyn Hedgspeth, John Coshatt, Jake Coshatt, Caden Sasser, Scott Sasser, and Will Poirier.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church Flag Fund 3975

The family wishes to express special thanks to her long time caregivers Kimberly Haddon and Will Poirier, you loved her and she loved you.
