Bobbie Joe Carden, 72, of Iuka, MS, died Monday, December 18, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Bobbie enjoyed mowing grass, and liked music and dancing. She also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ken Gardner. Interment will follow in Joel Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by four sons, Larry Carden (Etta), Gary Carden (Amanda), and Jerry “Tex” Carden (Amanda), all of Iuka, and Bo Cantrell (Ronda) of Memphis, TN; one brother, Johnny Kirkland of Memphis, TN; one sister, Sue Potts of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Makenzie Carden, Cortnie Cantrell, Phillip Faulkner, Paul Faulkner, Anna Dean, and Emily Dean; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynard Duane “Buck” Carden; and a son, Terry Carden. Memorials may be made to the Joel Cemetery Fund.
