Bobbie Jewel Osborn passed away at her home Sunday, September 6, 2015 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Osborn was a life long member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Monrovia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Finis and Virgie Kennedy; her late husband, Billy Locke. She is survived by her husband, Don. L. Osborn; sister Jean Acklin; two daughters, Vickie Delores Knox (Dennis) and Angela Kay Locke, both of Madison; three sons, Mickey Locke (Patsy) of Scottsboro, AL, Dwight Locke (Sonja) of Fort Myers Beach, FL; Timothy Locke (Kimberly) of Bremen, AL; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie cared deeply for her family, friends, and church. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Bro. Ron Freel will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
