Mrs. Bobbie Evelyn Atnip age 85 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at NHC Health Care in McMinnville, TN. She was born November 27, 1936, in Smithville, TN, formerly worked with Rockford Textile Mills, River Park Hospital, Findley Industries, and along-side her husband Jack at the family farm. Mrs. Atnip was preceded in death by her parents Jesse H. and Mary Jane (Janie) Greer Smith and her husband of 48 years Jack Atnip and she attended worship at Berea Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters Ramona (Jerry G.) Cooper, Teressa (Jeff) Hinkle, and Jackie (Buddy) Killian, grandchildren Christopher (Chasity) Cooper, Renee (Jade) Willis, Shelly (Russell (Russell) Lytle, Keirsten Killian, Paige (Dane) Holeton, and Jacqueline (Brandon) Will, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 08, 2022 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Richard Bowman and Dickie Dodd will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and again from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at McMinnville Funeral Home.
