Bobbie Ann Gilbert, 88, of Florence, AL passed away Monday, July 04, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, July 08, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Larry C. Gilbert will be officiating. She was a member of Helton Drive Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Eula Pennington; husband, Ernest Gilbert; step-mother, Margaret Pennington; brothers, William “Bill” Pennington, Warren Allen Pennington, Robert Lee Pennington, Jimmy Pennington, and Dale Pennington; sister, Peggy Mae Pennington.
Survivors are son, Larry C. Gilbert of Mt Olive, AL; daughters, Donna S. Noles (Paul) of North Little Rock, AR, Cathy P. Gilbert of Florence, AL , and Carla A. Gilbert of Florence, AL; brothers, Leonard “T” Pennington and Jerry Pennington (Alice) all of Russellville, AL; sisters, Freida Pennington Searcy, and Denise Pennington; grandchildren, Johnathan Noles (Mary), Melissa Kay Peele (Zach), and Chad B. Gilbert (Laurie); great grandchildren, Jack, Avery, Elizabeth, Alexander, Braxton, Olivia, Greyson, Cooper, and Colby; host of others from the Pennington, Gilbert, Behel, and Quillen families.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
