Bob Wright passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at the age of 74. His visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Higdon officiating. Burial will be in Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Bob was a native of Birmingham and was a member of the Non-Denominational Church of God. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Butler-Tidwell; and father; and his brother, Bill Wright.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley D. Wright, of Sheffield; sons, Danny Wright, of Birmingham, and Mark Wright, of Fairhope; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Todd Hipps, Brian Hipps, Henry Leigh, Louie Hipps, Lee Tidwill, and Evan Tidwell.
