Boaz Woman Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash While Being Pursued By Law Enforcement

ALBERTVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of one person.  The accident occurred while local law enforcement were in pursuit of the vehicle:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Friday, June 28, has claimed the life of a Boaz woman.

Macey E. Justice, 24, was critically injured when the 1995 Ford Ranger she was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert, and then a tree. Justice, who was being pursued by an officer of the Albertville Police Department at the time of the crash, was also not using a seat belt.

Justice was transported to Huntsville Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on Welcome Home Road, approximately 10 miles west of Albertville, in Marshall County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
