BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s to Air September 1

Cabelas CBF Series Logo_web sizedTHE SHOALS-Collegiate bass fishing fanatics will get the chance to experience the excitement of the nation’s largest collegiate bass fishing event on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 when the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s is set to air on the NBC Sports Network at 11 am Central Standard 
Time. 
 
The Championship was held on Pickwick Lake in Florence May 2122. Watch as nearly 170 teams from across the country gather for what shapes up to be an epic battle on the water. Several different strategies unfold, with some working out well, others backfiring along the way. NKU_CHAMP_2015_1

The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship is the marquee event of four nationally televised tournaments hosted as part of the 2015 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series that includes the Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash Presented by Berkley, the Collegiate Bass Texas Shootout and Collegiate Bass Fishing Open Presented by Cabela’s. These no entry fee events are open to all full-time students of university-recognized fishing programs.

“The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s is the tournament that every college angler dreams about competing in all year round,” said the Director of the Association of Collegiate Anglers and President of CarecoTV, Wade Middleton. “It is the largest and longest running collegiate fishing tournament in the nation and gives these guys a chance to compete against some of the best collegiate anglers around. It is also a very special event for many anglers and industry representatives as this is the 10th Anniversary or the Championship.”
