Blasedon Gene Smith was born June 9, 2001 in Columbia , TN the son of Rickey Smith and Melissa Simmons Smith. Blasedon worked for Roger’s Group and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Blasedon departed this life on Thursday December 16, 2021 at the age of 20 Years, 6 Months and 7 Days.
He is survived by father, Rickey Smith (Tish) of Columbia, TN; mother, Melissa Smith (Joey) of Waynesboro, TN; four brothers, Cameron Smith (Lexie), Gage Smith both of Waynesboro, TN; Lucas Smith of Columbia, TN and Kolton. one sister McKayla Smith of Waynesboro, TN; his fiance Katelyn Estep and his stepson Kamdyn Estep of Waynesboro, TN; his niece, Oaklynn Smith of Waynesboro, TN; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Rita Simmons of Waynesboro, TN; and his great-aunt, Linda Rochell of Waynesboro, TN.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rickey Smith and Peggy Mathis, his great grandparents, Doil and Nell Simmons, and his uncle, Tommy Simmons.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday December 20, 2021 at the Waynesboro Memorial Gardens with Kerry Franks officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County Assisting.
