It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Blanche Juanita Baker, of Tanner. Mrs. Baker passed away on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, at the age of 75, at Athens Limestone Hospital.

Born on March 26th, 1949, in Centre, Alabama, to Howell Tucker and Etta Ruth Stokes Tucker, Blanche grew up surrounded by a loving family. Her upbringing in Alabama instilled in her a deep appreciation for family values and community spirit.

Mrs. Baker devoted her life to her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her devoted husband, Andrew Neal Baker, with whom she shared 40 cherished years. Together, they built a family that continues to honor her memory. She is survived by daughters Vickie Heflin (Barry) and Susan Card (Brandon); grandchildren Tanner Heflin (Morgan), Kayla Heflin (Patrick), Cody LeBlanc (Olivia), and Megan Travis; brothers Donald Tucker (Lydia) and Steve Tucker (Cheryl); great-grandchildren Cooper Cochran, Maverick Cochran, Parker Heflin, Holland Heflin, Livi Heflin, and Lincoln LaBlanc. Mrs. Baker was also a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Howell and Etta Ruth Tucker, and her brother, Duell Tucker.

Mrs. Baker’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
