Blain Calven Drake, age 62 of Cordova, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.
Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his Mother-Laura Drake; Father-John Drake; Brothers-Chuck Drake, Richard “Dick” Drake and Burl Drake.
He is survived by his Wife-Linda Drake of Cordova; Daughters-Katrina Drake of AL, Vanessa Barnett (Jacob) of Madison, AL and Valerie Drake of Jasper; Sons-Charles Wayne Woods (Sallie) of Cordova, Jamie Woods of AL and Wayne Garner of Cordova; Sisters-Sue Lequine of North Carolina, Cynthia Biggs (Horris) of North Carolina and Penny Shields (Sammy) of South Carolina; Brothers-Tyron Drake (Tammy) of North Carolina and Ted Drake (Nancy) of North Carolina; 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made toward the funeral expenses.
