Funeral for Birtie Marcile Terry Sandlin, 85, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00pm with Rev. Zach Terry officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 11:00am- 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bishop Cemetery.
Mrs. Sandlin died on Friday, December 2, 2022 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1937 in Alabama to Floyd and Stella Fuller Terry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Sandlin, sons, Terry Sandlin and Tony Sandlin, brothers, Gordon Terry, Dewey Terry, Felton Terry, Harold Terry, and Carl Terry, sister, Betty Morgan, and son-in-law, John Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Brown, sisters, Melba Cabler, Merle Garrison (James), Jimmie Lemmond, brothers, Calvin Terry (Betty), Buddy Terry (Flora Mae), grandson, Bly Sandlin.
