Funeral for Birtice Terry, 98, formerly of Moulton, will be Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Reeves and Tony Pepper officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Terry, who died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Pointe Coupee General in New Roads, Louisiana, was born September 12, 1915, to Authur Terry and Annie Patterson Terry. He was a cattle farmer. He was a a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church and the Loyd L. Glenn Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Flannigan Terry; son, Charles Terry; his parents; brother, Dee Terry; and sisters, Bertha Sanderson, Virgie Montgomery and Berlane Sanderson.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Terry (Carolyn) of Louisiana; and two sisters, Helen Montgomery and Vera Butler, both of Moulton.
