Birdie Mae Bennett, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, April 08, 2016 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, retired from Salant & Salant, former CNA at Countryside Healthcare, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Missie Bell McGee Michael; and her husband, E. C. Bennett, Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, April 11, 2016, with J.D. Bosheers and Larry Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Ethridge Elementary School Library or Mt. Horeb WMU.
