Billy Wayne Street, 80 of the Burnwell community, passed away Wednesday April 23, 2025.
Billy was U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a retired Coal Miner from Drummond Coal Co. He worked at Maxine, Mary Lee 1 and Shoal Creek Mines. He was a member of the UMWA. He was also a member of Maryland Masonic Lodge #783 F&AM in Sipsey.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annie Street; daughters, Stacy Edwards and husband Chris, and Tracie Owens and husband Chris; grandchildren, Trevor Edwards (Haley), Hollie Sargent (Blake), Elizabeth Owens and Walker Owens; great-grandchildren, Sophie Sargent, Lucas Edwards, Millie Sargent and Maverick Sargent; sisters, Jane Bradley (John) and Annette Brown; several other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service and burial will be Saturday April 26, 25 at 2:00 pm at Brasfield Cemetery in Burnwell. Visitation is Saturday from 12:30-1:30 pm at the funeral home.
