A Celebration of Life service for Billy Wayne Rorie, 76 of Rienzi, MS, will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. J. C. Killough will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Rorie passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was born September 13, 1941 in Alcorn County, MS to Louis Rorie and Velma Wingo Rorie. He was a retired factory worker and was of the Pentecostal faith. Billy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Grace Cavaness Rorie of Rienzi, MS; his sons, Steven Rorie of Rienzi, MS and Barry Rorie of Rienzi, MS; his brother, Richard Rorie (Beartrice) of Rienzi, MS; his sisters, Sue Jones (Harold) of Rutherford, TN, Ernestine Vaughn of McMinnville, TN, Peggy Howell (Jimmy) of Middleton, TN and Clydean Burcham (Leon) of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Wayne Rorie; his daughter, Connie Sue Rorie, his father, Louis Rorie; his mother, Vlema Wingo Rorie and his sister, Beulah Mae Spencer. Pallbearers will be Terry Burcham, David Basden, Earl Rorie, Wayne Duncan and Jerald Vaughn. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Billy Wayne Rorie.
