Funeral services for Mr. Billy Wayne Moody, age 81, are scheduled for 1 pm Friday, October 3, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. Mr. Moody passed away late Tuesday in Parsons. He was born July 17, 1933 in Henderson County to the late Bethel Greene and Willie Dees Moody. He was a retired Pipeliner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Janie Moody and three brothers, Alton, Dalton, and Coy Moody. Survivors include his daughter, Tammy (Billy) Powers of Scotts Hill, two sisters, Blondell Lowery and Tharnell Creasey, and one grandson, Scotty.
