Mr. Billy Wayne McClendon, age 80 of Boaz, passed away at Marshall Medical South Friday, January 14, 2022. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bishop Robin Helms and Pastor Mike Johnson officiating. Family will receive friends from12:00 pm til the time of service, burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Boaz, AL.
He is survived by his daughters Amanda Pearce (Steve), and Jerusha McClendon; son Bradley McClendon (Ashley); grandchildren Noah McClendon, Nick Pearce, and Harper McClendon; sister Elneeta Rains (Dwight); and sister-in-law Peggy McClendon.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Frances McClendon; and brother Charles McClendon.
