Billy Wayne Brazier Profile Photo Billy Wayne Brazier, 74, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on July 30, 2025. He was born on March 16, 1951, in Huntsville, Alabama to the late W.G. and Margaret (Brazier) Manley.

Billy was born and raised in the Hazel Green area. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, riding horses, gardening, and woodworking. He was incredibly talented with his hands, building everything from barns to Barbie bunk beds. Billy had a passion for softball—both playing and coaching—and was an avid fan of the game. He also enjoyed western movies and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his children, Amanda Brazier and BJ (Angie) Brazier; grandchildren, Kim Wilson, Hannah Parker, Allen Parker, and Karleigh Brazier; great-grandchildren, McKenna Frazier, Willow Hopkins, and Layne Wilson; brothers, James Brazier and Waymond Manley; sisters, Elaine Mitchell and Sherry Manley; and many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, JoAnn Brazier, and his brother, Gary Brazier.

The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Steve Farrow officiating. Interment will take place at Plainview Cemetery.
