Billy Wayne Bailey, age 68, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Billy enjoyed working for years as a truck driver. He loved watching old western movies, working in his garden, and bushhogging his property. He was a person who liked being by himself, but was always seen with his faithful companion, LuLu.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Jeremy Wayne Bailey; father, Taskle Bailey; mother, Etoyle Brackin Bailey; brother, Bobby Ray Bailey; and nephews, Gregory Seal, Chris Seal, and Bobby Bailey, Jr.
Billy is survived by his daughters, Teresa, Tonya, Kimberly, and several grandchildren. Also, to cherish his memories are his siblings, Martha Ingram (Wayne), Kathy Seal, David Bailey (Dianne), Dale Bailey (Cathy); several nieces & nephews, and his beloved 4-legged companion, LuLu.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 02, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 03, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Ligon Springs Road, Tuscumbia. His brother Dale will speak at the service.
The pallbearers will be Brad Thomas, Blake Thomas, Wayne Ingram, Jeff Bailey, James Bailey, and Jeffrey Mason.
Billy’s brothers and sisters would like to thank Dianne, his sister-in-law, for all the care you have shown to Billy. It was very appreciated.
