Billy Sherman Turner, age 91, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Billy was born June 26, 1934, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Robert and Nancy Estes Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons Daniel Summer and Curtis Summer.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Ruby Fralix Turner; daughters, Sherri (Roger) Durham of Delrose, TN, and Rita Spivey of Lewisburg; sons, Steve Turner, Jimmy Turner and Troy (Lynn) Turner all of Lewisburg; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
He was retired from a career in the construction industry, with experience in many facets of the trade. He enjoyed visiting flea markets and yard sales always finding a treasure he couldn’t leave behind. He also found great enjoyment in whittling and spending time with his family.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11:00 am at London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Cochran Cemetery.
