Billy Roger Dicus of St. Joseph, TN formerly of Collinwood, TN, was born July 14, 1938 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Jessie Roger and Ollie Marie Bryson Dicus. Mr. Dicus was married to Verna Wilson Dicus and she preceded him in death January 14, 2017. Mr. Billy was retired from Tennessee Southern Railroad.
He is survived by a son, Roger Keith Dicus and wife Tammy of Collinwood, TN, four daughters, Cynthia (Cindy) Dicus Lee and husband Jeffrey of Iron City, TN, Lisa Ann Dicus Phillips and husband Michael of St. Joseph, TN, Peachy Dicus Ayers of Florence, AL, Delesea Burleson and husband Ronnie of Collinwood, TN, eight grandchildren, Kyle, Hayden, and Chad Lee, Kristin Phillips Risner, Samuel Ayers, Hailey Dicus White, Emma Dicus, and Thomas Burleson, three great grandchildren, Maddox Lee, Reece White, and Maciee Burleson, a brother, O’Neal Dicus of Collinwood, TN. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Dicus was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kelsie Rebecca Lee, two brothers, Sonny and Danny Dicus, and a sister, Bobbie Dicus Putman.
Services will be Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in Collinwood Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-8:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Kyle Lee, Chad Lee, Tony Giambelluca, Craig Risner, Thomas Burleson, and Tim Carl Daniel. Honorary pallbearers are Maddox Lee, Ricky Dicus, and Brent Dicus.
