Funeral service for Mr. Billy Ray Logston, age 74, of Decatur,
will be Saturday, April 13, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel
with Shane Britt officiating and Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
at Shelton Funeral Home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur.
Mr. Logston, who died April 8, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital,
was born September 9, 1938, in Lawrence County,
to John A. Logston and Letha Mae Heflin Logston.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
one brother, Benny Lee Logston; and one sister, Betty Jean Hood.
Mr. Logston was a member of the Pentecostals of Hartselle, and retired from TVA.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Faye Taylor Logston of Decatur;
two sons, Roger Logston of Muscle Shoals, and Ricky Logston of Slidell, LA;
one daughter, Rhonda Flaherty and husband, Mark, of Priceville;
three brothers, Daniel Heflin, Clarence Logston, and John Carlos Logston;
and seven grandchildren, Nicholas Logston, Noah Logston, Amy Turner,
Blake Logston, Courtney Flaherty, Ashley Flaherty, and Landen Flaherty.
Pallbearers will be Ben Logston, Chad Logston, Chris Logston,
Jason Logston, Jamie Logston, and Wesley Logston.
