Billy Ray Isley, age 75, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
Billy was born July 15, 1951, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Andrew and Louise Chilton Isley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Luna Isley in 2024; brother, Charles Isley; sister, Pam Shirley; great granddaughter, Janie Marie Isley, and a nephew Jeffrey Luna.
He is survived by his two sons, Tommy (Mitzi) Isley and Stacy (Wendy) Isley both of Lewisburg; two sisters, Faye (Leon) Luna of Lewisburg and Sue (Drew) Deardorff of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother Bobby Isley of Cornersville; six grandchildren, Crystal Henson, Cody Isley, Brit Isley, Kayla Cole, Lindsey Crumley, and Travis Staszak; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a self-employed carpenter, known for his skillful hands, strong work ethic, and the pride he took in a job well done. A man of Baptist faith, he carried his values with quiet strength and lived in a way that reflected devotion, humility, and care for those around him. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed spending his time gardening, watching westerns, and tending to his goats. These simple pleasures brought him happiness and reflected the down-to-earth life he cherished. Above all, his greatest joy was his family, and the time he shared with them will remain a treasured memory for all who knew and loved him.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Temple Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations in his memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
