Billy Ray Hargrove, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Ardmore, Alabama.
Billy was born on Tuesday, November 15, 1960, to Mr. Joe Edd Hargrove and Mrs. Estelle Hughes Hargrove in Ardmore, Tennessee.
He spent all of his life in Ardmore, Alabama where he was a member of the Community Baptist Church located in Ardmore, Alabama.
Billy loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved animals, drinking Sundrops, as well as watching the Andy Griffeth show. He was a fan of all sports, but an avid Alabama football fan. Billy never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by his three sisters: Mary (Donnie) Crouch, Linda Funk, and Glenda Ussery, Four nephews: Dusty Crouch, Cain Crouch, Mickey Elder and Mikie Elder, one niece: Melinda Martin, Five grandnieces: Makarlee Martin, Madison Crouch, Brooklyn Crouch, Amber Root, as well as Ashley Norman , one great-great grandniece: Laken Root, as well as special friends: Gary Graviet, Bert Putman, Tim Putman, as well as Ronald Graviet, as well as a host of other friends.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM (NOON) to 2:00 PM. A chapel service will follow directly afterwards at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. Steve Hargrove will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
