Billy R. Farris, age 83 of Guntersville passed away Friday, August 15, 2025 at his home.
He was a salesperson for 37 years at Ross Graden in Guntersville, Vice-President of Marshall County Cattleman’s Association and he served on the Grant Water Board.
His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Albertville Memorial Chapel and will be laid to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Asbury and Bro. Mark Wisener will officiate his service. Pallbearers will be Erick Branca, Kenneth Day, Alex Branca, Hunter Lacey, Timmy Sims and Albert Henry, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Farris and Nic Beavers.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 5:30 until 8:00.
He is survived by his wife of 56 Years; Annie Henry Farris, sons; John and Angela Farris and Derrick and Jennifer Farris, grandchildren; Katie Beavers (Nic), Jake Farris (Kirstin), Erick Branca (Stephanie), Alex Branca, Chloe Farris and Nevaeh Beard and great-grandchildren; Madelyn McFarlin, Natalie Branca, Kiera Branca, Jasper Farris, Kane Farris, Sawyer Malone and Addie Malone.
Mr. Farris is preceded in death by his parents; Bessie Mae Farris and Charlie Farris, sister; Betty Coby and his brother; John Charlie Farris.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
