Billy R. Cagle, age 89 of Athens, Alabama, died Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mr. Cage was born October 12, 1930 in Lauderdale County, Alabama. He was a member of Oakland Church of Christ, a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and he was retired from NASA.
There will be a private Graveside Service with Rusty Brand and Jeff May officiating. Spry Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Survivors: Wife: Hazel Cagle of Athens, Sister: Pamela Cagle of Athens, Son: Curtis R. Cagle of Fayetteville, TN, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Sister: Shirley Hargrave of Madison, AL, Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Brothers: E. F. Cagle, James Cagle and Eugene Cagle. Sisters: Mildred Blackburn and Catherine McCartney.
