Billy Paul “Bill” Sizemore, age 82, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Trinity Independent Living in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 3:00pm at Beaverton Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sizemore Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Howard McNeal to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. Funeral services will be live-streamed on the Beaverton Freewill Baptist Church Facebook page.
Keeping with Bill’s compassion for others, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to charities of choice that benefit others in need.

Bill was born on February 8, 1941 in Lamar County, AL to the late Lee Sizemore and the late Birdie Peoples Sizemore. He was a 1959 graduate of Sulligent High School. Bill retired from VISTA Chemical in Aberdeen, MS where he was a Lab Supervisor. He proudly served and retired from the Alabama Army National Guard after 29 years of honorably service. He enjoyed sports, especially University of Alabama Football and golf. He also liked to travel and various types of dance. Bill was of Christian faith. His kind and compassionate spirit will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him.
