Funeral services for Mr. Billy Morris Maness, age 71, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, February 16, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Maness passed away late Thursday in Jackson. He was born November 24, 1942 in Lexington to the late William Major “Dutch” Maness and Margie Elizabeth Hayes Hassell. He was a retired school bus driver and radio DJ. He enjoyed karaoke, writing, and reading books. Survivors include his four daughters, Tina Hume, Lisa Maness, Pam Kelly, and Kelli Maness Hunt, four brothers, Bobby Maness, Freddie (Kay) Dailey, Teddie (Debbie) Dailey, and Tommy Pano, and two sisters, Joyce (Frankie) Bray and Bridget (Ricky) Turner. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Maness, one son, Danny Morris Maness, and one sister, Susan Maness Tuten.
