Billy Lee Long, age 79 of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at St Thomas West in Nashville. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama on October 10, 1940 to the late Willie and Mary Dell Long. Before his retirement, Billy Lee was employed as a traffic construction manager. He was a member of West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Billy Lee is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Evelyn Smith Long of Nashville; and daughter, Karen Lynn Long and her partner Rick Woodroof of Winchester. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
