Billy Lee Cagle, 85, of Athens, passed away on Friday, October 31st, 2025, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mr. Cagle was born on October 13th, 1940, in Athens, AL, to Lee and Burnice (Smith) Cagle.
Mr. Cagle is survived by his wife, Ila Cagle; son, Bill Cagle, Jr. (Carol); seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda Robinson.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Cagle; parents, Lee and Burnice Cagle; and sister, Faye Misenhelder.
The graveside service will be Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Gatlin Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 2nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
