Funeral service for Billy Kirby, 85, will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie McDonald officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home .
Mr. Kirby died on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born June 29, 1932, in Morgan County to Fletcher P. Kirby and Geneva McDonald Kirby. He was employed by Wolverine Tube, in the finishing department, prior to his retirement after 30 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe for 3 years from 1953 to 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents.
