Billy Joe Sledge, 70, of Waterloo, passed away June 24, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27th from 2 to 3 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery in Iron City.
Mr. Sledge was interested in genealogy and provided much information to local cemeteries.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; stepsons, Johnny, Frankie, Jackie, Randy and Freddie Woods; brother, Robert Sledge; nephew, Robert Sledge, II; nieces, Brandy Bevis and Renee Sledge and a large extended family.
