Billy Joe Daniels, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at his residence. He was a native of Collinwood, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Canaan Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and was an avid Braves baseball fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Daisy Overton Daniels; his wife, Glenda Sue Pettus Daniels; one daughter, Cindy Holman; one step-daughter, Sheila Clemons; one grandson, Blake Holman; and several siblings.
He is survived by two sons, Tim Daniels (Cristina) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Terry Clemons (Renea) Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Chanda Foutch (Tommy) of Ethridge, TN, Tiffany Killough (Josh) of Clover, SC, Brittany Daniels of Chester, SC, Sara Daniels (Andrew) of Ethridge, TN, T.J. Daniels of Lawrenceburg, TN, Joseph Daniels of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Caleb Myers of Lawrenceburg, TN; great-grandchild, Luke Foutch of Ethridge, TN; several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and one sister, Adena Thorton (Sweet Pea) of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 26, 2023, with Danny Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
